For over 30 years, The James Beard Foundation has celebrated the top culinary talents across the country with the Restaurant and Chef Awards. This year, the nonprofit organization has recognized several establishments and individuals in Chicago for their exceptional talents in food, hospitality and other aspects of the industry, as well as being committed to values such as community, sustainability and equity.

Of the 17 semi-finalists hailing from Chicago, the four below restaurants and chefs earned nominations. Winners will be announced in a ceremony at the Lyric Opera of Chicago on Monday, June 10.
