The 64th Annual Dinner on the Bluff and Pro-Am Golf Championship honored the contributions of the Lurie Children’s Heart Center. Held at Shoreacres in Lake Bluff, the evening featured cocktails, dinner and the inspiring story of patient family Tim and Lindsey Brach. The previous day featured the Pro-Am Golf Championship at Onwentsia Club in Lake Forest.
Hosted by the Founders’ Board of Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago, both events were overseen by co-chairs Jackie Magner and Katie Wilhelm. Stuart Lansing and members of the Men’s Golf Committee spearheaded the Pro-Am Golf Tournament, while Kay Murphy and Cammy Hines organized Dinner on the Bluff for 540 guests.
The events raised more than $2 million in support of the Founders’ Board’s new $4 million commitment to Lurie Children’s Heart Center, which will benefit young congenital heart disease patients and their families.
