The first-floor showroom at the Bottega Veneta Oak Street storefront
One of the globe’s most prestigious fashion houses has just unveiled an opulent, two-story boutique.
Nestled along Oak Street’s charming, tree-lined stretch—where a mosaic of historic brownstones meet an array of high-end brands—the Bottega Veneta storefront (41 East Oak St.) stands as a tribute to the Milan-based label’s roots with classic Italian design elements and iconic signature collections.
Products on display, including handbags, eyewear and footwear
A cult classic among the likes of star-studded celebs, high-profile public figures and style aficionados—from Rihanna to Michelle Obama—the brand is best known for its signature Intrecciato weaving technique, artisanal craftsmanship and emphasis on natural materials like silk and cashmere.
The Windy City shop houses a wide range of product categories, from womenswear to menswear to home goods, with the addition of the label’s newly released perfume and fine jewelry lines.
Featured bags and footwear, including clutches, handle bags, pumps, flats and more
The store opens with the brand’s Pre-Spring 2025 Collection, which includes highlights like the Liberta bag and exclusive new editions of the legendary Andiamo bag.
As visitors arrive, they are greeted by a glass, brass and stone facade soaring over 32 feet high, accompanied by wraparound windows that peer directly onto the Italian-inspired interiors.

Inside, the space is adorned with three quintessential Italian materials: cement tiling on the floor and walls, green Verde Saint-Denis marble carving out vitrines and display units and walnut wood incorporated into custom tables, seating and shelving.
A wraparound walnut wood staircase ushers guests to the upper floor, complete with a skylit overlook with views of lush greenery, a VIP space with a private dressing suite and a consultation area for premier services.

Combining natural textures and hues, Italian modernism and Intreccio pattern plush leather seating, the interiors nod to the fashion house’s trademark handiwork and diverse color palette—which includes everything from vibrant tones like Parakeet and Lavender to pared-down Mirth Washed, Almond and Raintree.
The storefront’s arrival coincides with the recent appointment of Louise Trotter as creative director, who will assume her role at the end of the month. Formerly of Carven, Trotter will succeed Matthieu Blazy by the end of January.
