A trio of much-anticipated showroom openings has Chicago’s design scene buzzing this summer.

Luxury interiors brand Duxiana recently relocated to a new home in River North just as it reintroduces its iconic DUX Scandinavian furniture to the American market. The new space displays minimalist furniture; a wide selection of European linens, blankets and throws; and the full line of DUX Beds, which are both environmentally conscious and customizable. 445 N. Rimadesio’s sleek new Chicago showroom
Chicagoans can now peruse Rimadesio’s luxurious Italian furniture and more at its first monobrand showroom in Chicago, opened recently in partnership with luxury interiors firm Luca Lanzetta Group. The 2,000-square-foot space, situated in the heart of the River North Design District, is flooded with natural light that illuminates Rimadesio’s selects crafted with natural materials, such as wood, glass and aluminum. Expect to find the latest collections of organizational pieces, doors and wardrobes, plus items designed in collaboration with designer Carl Hansen. 225 W. Illinois St.

It’s been 11 years since luxury appliance company Sub-Zero, Wolf, and Cove opened the doors to its Merchandise Mart showroom, and this season, the space was revamped and reopened, which marks the beginning of a new chapter for the family-owned company. “Our new space is meant to inspire and help customers envision all of the possibilities of their future kitchen,” says Dan Heyn, president of Sub-Zero Group Midwest. Shoppers can explore the more than 150 appliances on display, such as wine storage systems and built-in ovens and grills, and even get hands on in the interactive demo kitchen. 222 W.
