Calling all movie buffs! Get ready to “enter the Matrix” with an auction from the personal collections of Lana and Lilly Wachowski, the incomparable directors, writers and producers behind The Matrix and numerous other cult classics.
Potter & Potter Auctions will hold an auction for items used in the making of The Matrix franchise, V for Vendetta, Sense8, Jupiter Ascending, and Cloud Atlas, with all profits going to the Protect & Defend Trans Youth Fund, which provides money and services to at-risk trans youth nation-wide. The auction will be held Thursday, May 12 at 10 a.m. at the auction house.

"We're excited to work with the Wachowskis on this project. Their worldwide fanbase and visionary filmmaking helped reshape the look of Hollywood. And the results of this auction will not only bring tangible evidence of their success and artistry to the collectors that adore their work, it will help raise funds for a good cause. Bidders will be able to get their hands on quite a few high-profile movie items.
From The Matrix: stone poi and ring pounders gifted by Keanu Reeves to the Wachowskis during production of the trilogy, a group of five Enter The Matrix video game posters, a group of 33 The Matrix Reloaded character posters, a lightning rifle prop, a viking bust from The Matrix Reloaded, and more.

Other items include: a purple Segway scooter from Speed Racer, a stone table from Cloud Atlas, a Balem Abrasax royal guard costume and necklace from Jupiter Ascending, and a full ninja costume used in Ninja Assassin by famed stunt performer Kim Do Nguyen.

Tune in to the auction online or in-person. There are limited in-person seats available due to health regulations, so all bidding will take place online. Phone and absentee bids are welcome as well. Appointments are available to view the items prior to the auction. Call the auction house to set up a time to visit.
