The biggest change in my life since I was last featured is... my family’s move to L.A. We relocated from Wilmette to the Hollywood Hills the summer after our son Maxwell graduated from New Trier, and we love it.
The most amazing thing to happen since I became a Woman of Style was... publishing my book Well Played: The Ultimate Guide to Awakening Your Family’s Playful Spirit. I am still amazed that I’ve published a book with HarperCollins.
My big news is... I launched my new style line, Playful by Meredith Sinclair, in June—it’s a collab with the social good lifestyle company Gigi Seasons. Our fall line comes out in October at gigiseasons.com. Yay!
In 2020, style is all about... classic pieces with a playful spirit.
My favorite designers of the moment are... I’ll splurge on Bottega Veneta pieces I know I will have forever (their new creative director Daniel Lee is a genius). And I love a trip into Ron Herman at Fred Segal to explore their curated selection of designers. I also love supporting new designers here in L.A. like Olivier Grasset of Dr. Collectors.
I’m supporting my local community by... wearing a mask in public at all times, and visiting and supporting all of our favorite neighborhood shops and restaurants as often as possible.
