The North Shore interiors scene is heating up with the opening of two luxe new showrooms in Winnetka.
Skyline Window Coverings’ showroom has an in-house installation team and design consultants who are helping level up window treatments across the North Shore.
Skyline Window Coverings
An exciting addition to the Winnetka interiors scene, boutique window treatment studio Skyline Window Coverings’ recently unveiled showroom features a vast selection of luxe products.
The space offers ample inspiration and options of custom Hunter Douglas draperies, shades, blinds and shutters. “We’ve all had to stop and recognize how we want to live in our homes, and lighting has a lot to do with that,” says Skyline founder and owner Chrissy Roellchen. “Experiencing our homes in a much different way over the past few years has resulted in the pursuit of creating the right lifestyle, and being up close and in person with custom window treatments lets that vision of home come to life.” 571 Lincoln Ave.
Serena & Lily
The recently opened Serena & Lily Design Shop features works by Chicago artists, including Jack Flynn and Vicky McGrath, as well as the brand’s dreamy offerings.
What was once a bland brick building on the corner of Gage Street and Green Bay Road is now a bright white oasis home to luxury interiors brand Serena & Lily’s newest Midwest showroom. The building’s eye-catching facade adds chic visual interest to buzzing downtown Winnetka, but the real visual candy awaits inside. Serena & Lily’s nearly 4,500-square-foot Winnetka Design Shop showcases a curated variety of sophisticated indoor and outdoor selects in a space that oozes with the California-based brand’s breezy natural aesthetic.
Of the new atelier, CEO Lori Greeley says, “With unmatched lakefront views and diverse architectural styles, the North Shore is a design enthusiast’s haven, and we look forward to sharing inspiration for enticing spaces with our neighbors.” 1070 Gage St.
