From sumptuous cashmere pants to sophisticated sequin-flecked sweaters, upstart fashion brand Santicler is taking loungewear to stylish new heights—and going sustainable all the way.

When it comes to refreshing your wardrobe for the fall season, Chicago boutique owner Ikram Goldman has one word: Santicler. “They do the best knits,” the style expert enthuses. “The most fun sweaters, cardigans and pants, all in knitwear and in beautiful cable knit and with sequins. If you’re getting on an airplane, why not fly in a sequin sweatpant? It’s comfortable and gorgeous, in very solid utilitarian colors and all done with a glorious feel.” Even better, says Goldman, the clothes are stylish enough to dress up or down.

“I see these being worn day into evening depending on where you’re going,” she notes. “That sweatpant I said you could wear an airplane? It works for black tie, too. Yes, please.” Established in 2018, the label may be young, but founder Monica Magdas Miller is a veteran designer with years of experience working at global brands like BCBG Max Azria.

That expertise shows in the exquisite results, and Goldman couldn’t be more excited to carry the brand. Sums up Goldman, “I love every single one of their collections. Just when I think they can’t come up with something new and fun, they do, and they’re also timeless, classic pieces. Look at that turtleneck with the sequins and the jogging pant with the flared leg—it’s just the cutest thing in the universe.” 15 E. Huron St.
