Since 2005, Lollapalooza has taken over Grant Park—and the city—for what is one of Chicago’s biggest events on the calendar. This year, the fest returns from Thursday, Aug. 1, to Sunday, Aug. 4, with a star-studded lineup, mouthwatering culinary offerings and a range of premium experiences. Here is the ultimate guide to making the most of Lollapalooza 2024.
Your wristband is your ticket. To browse ticket types and to purchase tickets, click here. A cashless payment option is available upon wristband registration, but cards are accepted at all food, drink and merch tents. For more information on what is permitted at the festival, view the FAQ page.
The main entrance is at Ida B. Wells Drive, the north entrance is at Columbus Drive and Monroe Street, the VIP and GA+ entrances are on the corner of Van Buren Street and S. Michigan Ave., and the Platinum entrance is on the 11th Street bridge.
Thursday kicks off with headliners Megan Thee Stallion and Hozier, along with performances by Lizzy McAlpine, Chappell Roan, Kesha and Fisher. On Friday, SZA and Stray Kids headline, and rising star Icelandic artist Laufey (who just won her first Grammy) takes the stage with the Chicago Philharmonic. Saturday, catch The Killers, Future X Metro Boomin, Tate McRae, Four Tet and Ethel Cain. End the weekend strong on Sunday with Blink-182, Melanie Martinez, Conan Gray, Pierce the Veil and many more. Click here for the full lineup.
Reserve a private cabana with the same amenities that GA and VIP have to offer, plus a dedicated suite for up to 30 guests, all-day complimentary beverage service, dedicated air-conditioned restrooms and more. Or opt for the Lolla Insider ticket, a two-person package with four-day access that includes all GA, GA+, VIP and platinum amenities, plus private golf-cart transportation, a ticket to an official Lolla aftershow and more exciting perks.
Discover top local chefs and restaurants at Chow Town and Dessert Island, where you can indulge in food, drinks and sweets from the Windy City’s favorite dining spots, including Castaways Beach Club, Billy Goat Tavern, Boxcar Betty’s, Lou Malnati’s Pizzeria and more.
