Sophisticated with a dash of swagger—these North Shore trendsetters prove that style is indeed a state of mind.
Liz Prior
“Power player” doesn’t begin to describe Liz Prior, whose lengthy résumé includes stints in advertising and marketing for consumer brands like Kraft Foods, Coca-Cola and Nestlé; launching a digital advertising strategy for her family’s business, The Patrick Auto Group; and establishing acclaimed Evanston-based automotive digital ad agency L2TMedia, which is now one of the top companies of its kind in the U.S. Prior’s most meaningful role these days is as the founder of social enterprise Rowan, which aims to increase women’s income in developing nations by partnering with a variety of artisans to sell their products (from gorgeously beaded bags to chic hats and accessories) and provide a fair wage. Now that’s what we call style with a conscience—and it’s just one of the things we love about Prior’s globally minded personal aesthetic. Here, the Wilmette resident delivers a few of her personal picks.
